Abstract

Bu makalede ilgili literatür aracılığıyla dünya çapında küresel bir olgu olan “işyeri şiddeti” diğer bir ifadeyle “mobbing” konusunun önemine işaret edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca, ilgili literatür aracılığıyla, mobbing uygulamak ile karanlık üçlü kişilik özelliklerine sahip olma arasındaki ilişkinin açıklığa kavuşturulması hedeflenmiştir. Çeşitli biçimlerde gerçekleşebilen işyeri şiddeti, hedefteki kişinin yaşam kalitesini, sağlığını, iş verimini ve genel iyi olma halini olumsuz etkileyebilmektedir. Mobbingin hedefteki kişide psikolojik, fizyolojik ve sosyal sorunların gelişmesine yol açabilen önemli bir insan hakkı ihlali, etik bir ihlal olduğu açıktır. Mobbingin varlığı, farklı biçimleri ve etkileri konusunda farkındalığın artırılmasının önemi anlaşılmalıdır. Ayrıca, önleyici müdahale planlamalarına ve gelecek araştırmalara ihtiyaç olduğu açıktır. Her türlü şiddeti meşrulaştıran ve artmasına yol açan tutumların değiştirilmesi çalışmalarından başlayarak birçok önleyici müdahale planları geliştirilmeli ve uygulanmalıdır.

Abstract

In this article pointing out the importance of “mobbing” in other words “workplace violence” which is a global problem has been aimed. Also clarification of the relationship between conducting mobbing and having dark triad personality traits via related literature has been targeted. The workplace violence which could be conducted in many different forms could affect the targeted individual’s life quality, health, work efficiency, and general wellbeing negatively. It is obvious that mobbing is an important ethic and human right violation which could leads to development of serious psychological, physiological and social problems. The importance of creating awareness regarding existence, various ways and effects of mobbing must be understood.  Besides, the need for future intervention plans and research is obvious. By starting with changing the attitudes which leads to justification and increase of every kind of violence, lots of intervention plans to prevent mobbing must be developed and conducted.
